CASE SUMMARY
To be effective in his work, Roger Retail, Head of Retail Office at Tecta, needs real-time overview of the company's business performance. He also needs to be able to access information on his business trips. Using the Dashboard Granule on his tablet allows him to easily view company's key performance indicators wherever he is at the moment. To use the Granule, he follows these steps:
- Selecting the Dashboard Granule
- Selecting an out-of-the-box dashboard
- Selecting relevant criteria for each indicator
|
1. Selecting the Dashboard Granule
The person responsible accesses the Dashboard Granule on a tablet. They log in to PANTHEON Web to open the Dashboard Granule.
This opens the Dashboard window.
 |
IMPORTANT
By default, the Dashboard you selected when last using the Dashboard Granule is displayed.
|
In this case, the Activity Ratios dashboard opens.

The person responsible wants to select another dashboard, so they search for an out-of-the-box dashboard.
2. Selecting an out-of-the-box dashboard
To check the company's business performance, the person responsible wants to choose a dashboard that best suits their needs.
Clicking the arrow button
in the Name header field opens a drop-down list, where all out-of-the-box dashboards are displayed.

After checking the available dashboards, the person responsible clicks on a dashboard name to select the relevant dashboard: in this case, it is Sale by item.

The selected dashboard opens and is showing six indicators, for example: Top 15 Items by Sales Value and Top 15 Items by Gross Margin. The person responsible can view all the indicators on the dashboard by scrolling down the screen.

Then, the person responsible selects relevant criteria for each indicator.
3. Selecting the relevant criteria for each indicator
The field above the dashboard allows you to select the criteria for displaying indicator data.
In this case, the person responsible wants to change the display period for the indicator Items by Sales Value and Gross Margin. Currently, the indicator displays data for: Last 12 Months.
From the indicator drop-down menu, the person responsible selects: Last year.

The data is refreshed in real time and last year's values are displayed.

This completes the process of overviewing the dashboard.
