Send Message

The Send Message tab on the Notify Contacts form enables you to edit the contents of the message and the list of users. You can then select these users and send them a message.

The Send Message tab is composed of multiple sections:

Table of Contents

  1. Message
  2. Message for the user
  3. Users
  4. Status

1. Message

In this section, you can view and edit the text of the notice you want to send to business partners, and define variables.

Message

In this field, write a message for the recipients. In the text, you can use predefined Variables.

Variables

Variables are data from the fields on the Subjects register form and can be used when writing messages. The following variables are available:

  • acSubject – ID from the Subjects register
  • acPost – Mail from the Subjects register
  • acPhoneNumeric – Phone number from the General panel in the Subjects register
  • acName2 – Name2 from the Subjects register
  • acEmail – E-mail address
  • acContactSurname – Contact person's surname
  • acContactName – Contact person's name
  • acAddress – Address

To use variables in the text, use the "drag and drop" feature.

2. Message for the user

In this section, the text of the notice that will be seen, or received by the business partner appears.

Message for the user

This field displays the text that the business partner will receive when sending.

Instead of the variable name, the value of the variable is visible, according to the selected data.

3. Users

In this part, select the users, or business partners from the Subjects register, to whom you want to send an SMS message.

Users

On the list in the table, all records with phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses are visible.

Depending on which setting is selected in the Settings tab.

In the acmarked column, select the subjects to whom you want to sent the message by checking the checkboxes.

The columns display data for all variables described in 1. Message – Variables.

(Filter)

You can filter data in the row by variables (columns).

Collect

Clicking the button refreshes/collects the data on the form. In the Message for the user section, the text refreshes.

Send

Clicking this button sends an SMS or e-mail message to the selected users.

Before sending, a Confirmation window opens with the buttons:

  • Yes – send messages
  • No – cancel sending

(status row)

The row shows the sending status of the messages in percentage (from 0 to 100%).

4. Status

After sending a message, the Status section appears with data about the history of sent messages:

Available for each message is the data about:

  • time and date of start of sending (Start),
  • number of sent messages,
  • number of successfully delivered messages,
  • time and date of end of sending (End).
