Creating a local PANTHEON DMS base

For successful function of the Local eDocumentation storage, a local PANTHEON DMS base must be created.

An example of this is shown below.

CASE SUMMARY

After activating the Local eDocumentation service, a local PANTHEON DMS base must be created. The person responsible in the company does this as follows:

  1. Creating a local PANTHEON DMS base
  2. Testing current connection

1. Creating a local PANTHEON DMS base

In the menu, the person responsible selects Settings | Program | Administration Panel, then the panel Versions/Upgrades | Installation.

In the latter, the person responsible selects the Subscriptions tab.

To create a local base, the person responsible clicks the Create PA DMS Database button.

Clicking the button creates a separate base on a local server: PADMS for local document storage.

In the Storage register, found in the Settings | Documentation | Storage panel, a local base PADMSDB is created.

Next, the person responsible checks the link.

2. Testing the current connection

In the second step, the person responsible checks delovanje of the link with storage by clicking the (Test current connection) button.

If the link is successful, a window is opened with the information: Connection established.

The person responsible confirms the information by clicking the Confirmation button. If the link is not successful, an Error window is opened.
