Download storages

To save documentation, we can use different types of storages, depending on the needs of the company. It is possible to use several storages simultaneously, and using classifications you can determine where the documents are stored.

In the Download Storages step in the Setup Wizard you can download predefined (eDocumentation, Certified eDocumentation and Local eDocumentation) storages via Web services.

You can open the Setup Wizard in the menu Settings | Program | Administration panel | Settings | Documentation.

HINT

For more detailed information about the Downloading of Storages step, read the chapter Download Storages.

In this chapter, an example of downloading storages using the Wizard is displayed.

Case summary

The person responsible wants to quickly download the pre-prepared storages to the company's register using the wizard. This is done as follows:

  1. Selecting import type for storages
  2. Selecting storages to download
  3. Transferring storages to the register

1. Selecting import type for storages

The person responsible wants all types of storages that do not exist in the register yet to be transferred there, and the existing ones to be overwritten.

The person responsible wants to transfer the storages that are localized for Slovenia.

In the Setup Wizard, the person responsible selects the step Download storages.

In the Import Type section, the person responsible checks the checkbox for the Add/Update type.

In the For country field, the person responsible selects the localization SI from the drop-down list.

Continues to select storage.

2. Selecting storages to download

Among the available storages, the person responsible selects the ones that meet the needs of the company.

HINT

You can read about more storage types and eDocumentation packages that meet your needs in the chapter About eDocumentation.

After selecting the criteria, the person responsible clicks the button Transfer from server and downloads the storages to the preview list.

By checking the checkbox Yes/No, for each position, the person responsible selects the records that the person responsible wants to transfer to the register.

HINT

ID and Name fields enable filtering of storages. You can also filter using the special character %.

The person responsible continues to transfer the data to the register.

3. Transferring storages to the register

The person responsible wants to transfer the selected storages to the register.

To transfer the selected files to the register, the person responsible clicks on the Transfer into register button.

With the Confirm button in the Information window, the transfer of selected storages to the register is successfully completed.

HINT

You can check the storage register in the menu Settings | Program | Administration panel | Settings | Documentation | Storage.
