Document information

Information on documents such as metadata linked documents, files and preview of a scanned document or chat log are available to users on all PANTHEON forms.

For forms that do not have Documentation integrated, the feature is available to display information about the documents via the (Info) button.

CASE SUMMARY

In accounting, the person responsible for doing posting wants to check in more detail the metadata of one of the documents included in the journal entry 4000 – Opening balance. This is done as follows:

  1. Activating document preview
  2. Displaying information about the document

1. Activating document preview

On the 4000 – Initial Balance joutral entry, located in the Financials │ Accounting menu, the person responsible opens the document viewer.

In the toolbar, the person responsible clicks on the (Import/Export data) button and selects Show Documents.

The document viewer opens.

2. Displaying information about the document

In the next step, the person responsible activates the feature to display information about documents by clicking on the  (Info) button in the viewer toolbar, which displays the information from Documentation.

The person responsible now checks the information recorded about the document on the individual tabs.

WARNING
  1. The Info button is only available on the document viewer – the document on the form must be added.
  2. On forms where the Documentation tab is available, the button is not available in the document viewer.
