Task Type

The Task Type form allows you to create types of tasks and customize their data. In this way, the user can enter desired data and also edit it graphically.
The form opens when you double click on the Task Type field, located on the Task form.

Below is a description of the form's parts.
The toolbar offers the standard functionalities available on PANTHEON forms. You can find a description in chapter Toolbar.
The tab allows you to create new types of tasks and edit existing ones.
ID
|
The ID of a non-repeating of type task. When creating a new one by clicking on the (Insert record) button in the toolbar, the program automatically sets a new ID.

Active
|
If checked, the task type ID is active and can be used.
|
Name
|
Enter the name of the task type.
|
Workflow
|
Select a workflow from the drop-down list. If you click on the (Search) button, the Search by form opens.
|
Department
|
Select the department from the drop-down list.
|
Expected duration
|
The estimated duration of the task type in minutes.
|
Task text
|
Enter any text for this type of task.
|
Colour
|
Select the colour from the drop-down list which you want to be displayed for this task type.

Icon
|
Select an icon for the task type. Clicking on the icon opens the Icon select form, where you can select the icon you want.

Urgent Task |
By enabling this parameter, you get new options when creating a new urgent task. When creating a new task and selecting Urgent Task, the System task field appears with predefined tasks:
- Re-login
- Restart program
- Run eWorkflow/ARES
- Information

An example of an urgent task is for restarting the program. If the interval for Urgent tasks is enabled, a reminder will appear where you can open a task to see its details or finish the task and the program will close.

The form allows you to specify additional fields for the data that you want to see for the task in the Calendar view mode. Additional data is also visible when you hover over a task and a pop-up window appears. A description of this can be found in the chapter Custom Data.
