POS Touch menus

This chapter describes the functionality of adding new menus on touch screens for POS issue documents.

Case summary

The Tecta company has its own bar in which the drinks are divided into classifications. The person responsible now wants to add SPRITS. This is done as follows:

  1. POS Touch Setup and Adding a New Menu
  2. Reviewing Changes

1. POS Touch Setup

To add a menu to the POS issue document, the person responsible needs to select the panel Settings | POS | Pos touch setup.

The program opens a panel with a list of menus, and the responsible person seelcts the main menu by double clicking on it. The menu opens, and the person responsible needs to add a new operation, where all items with the classification SPIRITS will be listed.
The person responsible selects a button position, clicks the Operation button, and selects the Add new level with the selected classification option, then selects the classification.

The settings are saved by clicking the    button.

With these settings defined, the new button for selecting SPRITS drinks is added.

The person responsible checks the button and defines its size, color, etc.

WARNING

After making changes to the Document Type you must save them, so the changes can be seen on the document.

  • Text that contains the names of fields, buttons, menus or shortcuts must be bold.
  • We encourage the use of images for buttons and shortcuts: Ctrl+F.

2. Reviewing Changes

The person responsible clicks on Goods | Issue | POS | 3210 POS BAR, which opens a new document with the newly added classification for SPRITS visible.

Now the person responsible can select drinks from this classification as well.

Warning

For more information about adding a menu in POS Touch Setup, see the chapter Touch menu settings.
