Plans

 

The Plans module is a significant department in a manufacturing company. It is liable for surplus stock and the late purchase of material, as well as delays in delivery of end-products.

It enables you to launch manufacturing directly, and directly link:

  • the work order (individual products=individual order lines=individual plan line)
  • the customer order (multiple lines in a work order can be merged into one order)
  • the plan (multiple orders can be merged into one plan).

The module is accessed from the Manufacturing | Plans menu.

The module consists of the following functional units:

Plan It this chapter we have added various use cases related to planning, scheduling, forward material plans, creating orders from plans, etc.
