Watermark

The Watermark functionality is located on the Document Preview section on the Documents form. A watermark is information inserted into a document in a detectable or undetectable manner. Digital watermarking is the latest form of watermarking. Similar to physical watermarks on paper, a digital watermark is also used to identify the owner or creator.

There are three options for adding a watermark to a document in PANTHEON.

Table of Contents

  1. Add Text Watermark
  2. Add Image Watermark
  3. Draw Signature
  4. Add Signature

1. Text Watermark

A text watermark can be inserted on the document preview. We can set the location, position, writing mode and page where the watermark will be visible.

The window consists of the following elements:

The text

Enter the desired text in the field.

(Choose a font)

By clicking the button

an additional window opens where you can edit the font, style, size and color settings of the font.

Angle

Enter the angle at which the watermark should appear in the field. Enter the degrees of the angle.

Writing mode

You can choose between the following modes of writing:

  • Horizontal
  • Vertical

The marked selection box is colored yellow.

(Cancel)

By clicking on the button, we cancel the addition of the watermark.

(Insert)

By clicking on the button, we insert a watermark on the document.

Warning

Once the watermark is set and saved, it cannot be deleted.

2. Image Watermark

There is an option to insert a signature or an image watermark, i.e., a file from the local disk. You set the location and position of the image and add it to the desired page of the document.

The window consists of the following elements:

Image file name

By clicking on the button on the local disk, we search for the image or the file that we want to attach to the document.

Zoom %

Enter the zoom percentage in the field or reduction of the image if it is too large or too small.

(Cancel)

By clicking on the button, we cancel the addition of the image watermark.

(Insert)

By clicking on the button, we insert a watermark with an image on the document.

WARNING

Once the watermark is set and saved, it cannot be deleted.

3. Draw Signature

Selecting Draw Image Watermark opens a form with a rectangle where the signature will appear when we type it. The signature can be written with the mouse or a dedicated digital pen.

The window consists of the following elements:

(Clear)

By clicking on the button, a signature of the watermark is cleared.

(Cancel)

By clicking on the button, we cancel the addition of the watermark.

(Insert)

By clicking on the button, we insert a watermark on the document.

WARNING

Once the watermark is set and saved, it cannot be deleted.

4. Add Signature

Select Add Signature and draw a rectangle on a document preview where the signature will appear.

After drawing a rectangle a form for selecting a Certificate is opened.

Select your certificate, enter password an confirm.

Signature is then displayed.
