Export

  

The Export tab of the Special Reports form allows you select the file format and location for the exported report.

The report can be exported to a local file, sent via email or exported to a web service in a desired file format. The form changes according to the type of export selected.

Below is a description of form’s features.

1. Export type

In this section, you can select the file format and export type. You can also generate a preview of the report.

Format

Select the radio button with the desired format for export.

Options are:

  • HTML  - Report will be exported as .html file.
  • PDF - Report will be exported as .pdf file.
  • DOC - Report will be exported as .doc file.
  • XML - Report will be exported as .xml file.
  • CSV - Report will be exported as .csv file.
  • XLS - Report will be exported as .xls file.
  • XLSX - Report will be exported as .html file. Exporting to .xlsx file divides the report, where one page corresponds to one sheet.

Export type

Select the radio button with the desired export type.

Options are:

  • File – Report will be exported to a local file. For more information se section 2. File of this chapter.
  • E-Mail - Report will be sent via email. For more information se section 3. E-Mail of this chapter.
  • Web Service - Report will be exported to a web service. For more information se section 4. Web Service of this chapter.

Preview

By clicking the button, you can generate a report that is displayed in Report Window.

Export

By clicking the button, report is exported according to settings in the tab.

2. File

This section is visible if File export type is selected. Here, you can define the name of the exported file and location for export.

File Name

Enter the desired file name. By default, the name of the report is displayed.

Path

Enter or select the location for exporting the report file in the browser.

3. E-Mail

This section is visible if E-mail export type is selected. Here, you can define all the information for an export via email.

File Name

Enter the desired file name. By default, the name of the report is displayed.

From

Enter the sender’s email address.

Full Name

Enter the sender’s full name.

To

Enter the recipient's email address.

Cc

Enter the email address for a carbon copy.

Subject

Enter the subject of an email.

(Text)

Enter the text of an email.

4. Web Service

This section is visible if Web Service export type is selected. Here, you can define all the information for an export into a web service.

Report Name

Enter the desired file name. By default, the name of the report is displayed.

Internet Address

Enter the internet address of an internet service for export.

Information

Enter an additional description for the created report.
