Automatic partner encryption

Automatic encryption allows the software to offer the user, when adding a new cipher, the next sequence number that has not yet been used in the encryption.

In PANTHEON, we usually use entity codes, as this makes it much easier to find the entity you want in the lists. However, there are cases where such encryption is not optimal. Such cases are particularly common for companies selling to citizens, as there are usually several entities with the same surname and first name. In such cases, we use non-speaking codes instead of the speaking code of the entity.

Settings for automatic entity number generation are specified in Application parameters./span

WARNING

The automatic entity coding setting is a global setting (applies to the whole company), so all entities will be entered with the set code.

We have prepared more detailed chapters explaining and demonstrating by example the different ways of automatically generating entity codes:

Encryptionwithout initial constant Demonstration of an example of encryption without an initial constant (0000000001).
Scrambling with initial constant Presenting an example of encryption with an initial constant (KUP-00000001).
Encryptionusing-a-selection-field Demonstration of an example of encryption using the selector field (000001-999999).
