Record

When transferring/entering data it is checked whether Create WO Work Preparation checkbox that can be found in Issue Materials is checked and the procedure is performed in the following way:

  • Data transfer is performed for one work order at a time.
  • Work orders which do not include serial numbers and for which Create WO Work Preparation was not checked can be divided into regular planned quantities and quantities of scrap and waste. Quantities exceeding planned consumption are not transferred to WO.
  • Work orders which do not include serial numbers and having Create WO Work Preparation checked are transferred to newly-created lines in panel for work preparation, or to the existing lines which were created during previous transfers.
  • Work orders including serial numbers and for which Create WO Work Preparation was not checked can be divided into regular planned quantities and quantities of scrap and waste. Only the entire quantity of individual serial number can be divided. Quantities exceeding planned consumption are not transferred to WO. The planned quantity on work order is rounded up for serial numbers of the types S and E.
  • First corresponding lines for work orders including serial numbers and having Create WO Work Preparation checked are created in the panel for work preparation. Only then the quantities get transferred to them.

If the item has Auto-Assign S/N checked in Issue Document Types settings, the serial number is automatically relieved from inventory. It holds good regardless of whether you checked Create WO Work Preparation or not.

There are some checks performed during data transfer. A log is shown in case of errors occurring.

Below you can observe the errors which could occur:

ID does not exist! Informs you that an item ID does not exist.
No work preparation! Informs you that an item is not included in work preparation, that is, the entered quantity exceeds the one in work preparation.
Insufficient stock! Informs you that an item's available stock is insufficient.
Serial number does not exist! Informs you that an item's serial number does not exist on warehouse.
Serial number not in stock! Informs you that the serial number is not in stock.
Serial number already on work order!
Informs you that a serial number has already been entered in work order - for items having serial number tracking set to S or E.
