Select the type of entering data about the issue/receiving of goods with the
Barcode
scanner function:
- With a Scanner Connected between Computer and Keyboard.
- Scanner is Connected to the Serial Port. If you select this
option, you will have to select scanner utility and the transfer file.
- With Transfer File. If you select this option, you will have
to define the transfer file as well.

Transfer File |
- If you in the Data is Entered By
section select the With Transfer File
option, you can here define the name of the transfer file for the data
that will be entered with the barcode scanner, etc.

- If you in the Data is Entered By
section select the With Transfer File
option and you do not define the transfer file here, the program will
ask for the name of the file, once you will click the
Scanner button.

Scanner Utility
| In
this field you can define the scanner utility that will read data
entered with the scanner. The utility will create the file for the
transfer, defined in the Transfer File
field.

Wait for Input (sec)
| You can in this field
enter the time (in seconds) in which the program expects data.

Length (prefix, ID, qty)
| (when
the fixed length of data is selected) enter the number of places that
are reserved for:
- prefix
- ID - quantity of receiving. To use this option you have to in the
Items register | General panel select the Quantity in Code option.

Delimiting Character (Item ID, S/N) | (when
delimiting with separator is selected) enter the character which will
separate the prefix, ID, quantity and serial number.

Separation
| In this
section you can select the method for separating the prefix, ID,
quantity and serial number:
- Separator – the separator will be the selected character; - Fixed length –
the program will not use the separation character, because the length of
the scanned record is fixed
(see Length of barcode entry).

Sort By
| In this section you can select
the method to sort lines in a document:
- Code – lines will be sorted according to the increasing order of
the items ID;
- Input Order – lines will be entered in the order in which items will
be entered.

CII->Hex Code Converter (m)
|
You can use this field for an easier set up of the conversion table for
the barcode scanner.
Example:
If you click the Conversion button
, the program will in the
conversion table enter the value.
If you do not enter a character in the CII->Hex Code Converter (m) field, the program will
report an error: Enter Character!.
With each new entry, the program will fill-in the conversion table (are
added records in this field).

In this field you can enter or with a calculation function calculate the
conversion table for the barcode scanner.
