Create Plan Lines

Create Plan Lines

Plan can be created for different departments, divided in tabs: Sales, Purchase, Finance and Payroll. In each tab you create header lines, where you can then plan detailed data for selected period units (months if you selected months as planning units). When you click on individual month cell, additional detailed grid will appear below to insert data.

Planning in Sales tab

  1. First you have to select if you would like to plan sales by value or quantity. This actually determines which numbers are visible in upper grid.
  2. Create new lines in upper grid with desired line name. Lines are numbered automatically by 10, but you can manuall change line number.
  3. Click on individual cell in upper grid to open lower, detailed grid.
  4. Enter or select planning information: value, price, customer and corresponding region or country. You can also enter other data required for detailed planning. E.g.: country UK, and mobile phone for item, ...
  5. Confirm the line and move to next one by pressing down arrow key. Repeat the procedure described in step 4 as many times as required.

Planning in Purchase tab

  1. First you have to select if you would like to plan purchase by value or quantity. This actually determines which numbers are visible in upper grid.
  2. Create new lines in upper grid with desired line name. Lines are numbered automatically by 10, but you can manuall change line number.
  3. Click on individual cell in upper grid to open lower, detailed grid.
  4. Enter or select planning information: value, price, customer and corresponding region or country. You can also enter other data required for detailed planning. E.g.: country UK, and mobile phone for item, ...
  5. Confirm the line and move to next one by pressing down arrow key. Repeat the procedure described in step 4 as many times as required.

Planning in Finance tab

  1. Click Finance tab in NAO - Planning form.
  2. Enter field Line Name: e.g. 6 PRODUCT STOCK, SERVICES.
  3. Enter formula: E.g.: #D6%#.
  4. Move to next line (thus confirming it) using down arrow key005046.gif. Create as many lines as is required. E.g.: in this case lines 65 PURCHASE of GOODS REPORT and 651 Dependent costs of goods purchased.
  5. Click a cell to open a detailed table below.
  6. Enter planned value: e.g.: 1,412.99.
  7. Enter or select a subject, cost center and department (enter only required data). E.g.: Foreign Supplier Ltd. for subject, Project05 for cost center and Department 1 for department.

Planning in Payroll tab

  1. First you have to select if you would like to plan payroll by hours, net, gross or gross II. This actually determines which numbers are visible in upper grid.
  2. Create new lines in upper grid with desired line name. Lines are numbered automatically by 10, but you can manuall change line number.
  3. Click on individual cell in upper grid to open lower, detailed grid.
  4. Enter or select planning information: hours, net, gross, gross II, subject, cost center, department and position.
