A form opens in which you can define document type.

When new item is added you need to insert short ID (3 characters), short name and name. These are the main settings to create new document type. You can the additionally define that document type is record only (you are not able to use thi document type), add it to group of connect it with classification. In the lower section you can add custom note or deafult note and define individual texts for document type. Tab permissions allows you to set permissions for each user to work with this document type.
