Event Log

  

The Event Log form of the Accounting Dashboard gathers data about events on the databases. It allows you to review changes made on the databases.

Detailed information about the events are displayed in the table according to the criteria set in the header.

The form can be accessed from Financials | Accounting Dashboard and selecting Event Log.

The form contains following sections.

1. Header

In the header of the form, you can select the criteria for events displayed in the table.

Databases on server Displays a list of avaliable databases on server. By selecting the checkbox next to the database, it is selected for data gathering.
Period from Enter the start date of the period you want to gather data for.
to Enter the end date of the period you want to gather data for.
User Select one or multiple users you want to gather data for.
Event type Select one or multiple event types.
Computer Enter the name of computer or workstation you want to gather data for.
Database Enter the name of database you want to gather data for.
Gather data By clicking this button, data of events is gathered and displayed in the table.
Ad-Hoc Analysis By clicking this button, a new AdHoc analysis is created with data gather in the table.

2. Table of events

The table displays all gathered data according to criteria selected in the header.

Program Displays the program on which the event occured.
  • PA - event occured in PANTHEON
  • PW - event occcured in PANTHEON Web
User Displays the ID of the user that created the event.
Time Displays the time of the event.
Help Displays the For PA ID of the PANTHEON Help site linked to the functionality used in event.
Type

Displays the type of the event:

  • (none) - event from outside application
  • P - event from PANTHEON
Type Displays the name of the SQL object related to event.
Workstation Displays the name of the workstation on which the event was created.
Database Displays the name of the database on which the event occured.
Caption Displays the name of the PANTHEON form or panel on which the event orccured.
Navigator Displays on which entry the change was made (subject, item, document type, ...).
Tree Displays which data of the entry was changed.
GUID Displays the globaly unique identifier of the event.
Dataset Name Displays the dataset name.
Value Displays a value that was sent from the outside aplication into PANTHEON (via API, etc.)
Params Displays whole parameter that was sent from the outside aplication into PANTHEON (via API, etc.)
Duration  Displays the duration of the event.
Duration total Displays the total duration of the event.
User Displays the ID of a user that created the event.
Class  Displays the class name of the form related to event.
Company - database Displays the name of the company and database.
