General (Cattle)
The General tab gives a quick overview of information about parents, acquisition and disposal.
| Parents |
This contains information about the animal's parents and grand parents. The animal's family can be generated based on that. Button  will open a report of a family tree. |
| Acquisition |
Specify how and when the animal was acquired, and when it was registered. Different acquisition types define which document will be created and which data are necessary to insert. List of arrival, movement and departure types can be found in movement codebook.
Special case:
If we buy animal in EU or not EU country, we have to determine this in Supplier in subjects. For EU countries correct setting is Import-EU and for non EU country just Import. This way correct document will be created ( 190 and 191).

| Disposal |
This section shows data about animal disposal. If animal is still active, her status is Not disposed. With click on button  new pop up for animal disposal will appear. When animal is disposed, her status changes to Disposed, button changes to  and all entry fields become disabled.
