Selecting Input Completed Work in the MT Manufacturing menu opens a window where you can enter data on completed work during operations contained in work order. To view entered data click Browse Work.

Lines as specified in manufacturing specification (Work Preparation) of work orders can be issued in Enter Work panel.

Before trying to issue lines, select mode of reporting - by checking Create WO Work Preparation or leaving it unchecked. Select a work order using which you want to report operations that were started. Proceed with selecting an employee and enter data on completed work. Continue by entering next employees. To post work to work order you have to first confirm it by clicking OK. To continue enter a new work order.

The following fields are available in the main section of Input Completed Work:

 

Work Order
First enter or select a number of work order for reporting completed work.
Product
Displays ID and name of product in production.
(quantity)
Displays planned (released) product quantity plus unit of measurement (U/M) used.
Released
Enter or select date on which the work order was released.
Order
Displays number and line of sales order linked to the work order.
Create WO Work Preparation
If checked, it determines that a line will be created in manufacturing specification of work order for operation entered. As shown in the second image in the follow-up, specifying data in the panel for issuing is done somewhat differently.
 

Below you can enter the following fields:

 

Alternate
Enter or select an alternate line in operation.
Line
Enter or select a line of operation.
Department
Enter or select ID of department linked to line of work order and which is recorded in line of document of movement.
Operation
Displays ID and name of operation.
Tsu
Displays set-up time of operation.
Tpr
Displays production time per operation.
Total Time
Displays total time (Tsu + Tpr) required for production of products in work order.
Used
Displays reported time used during operation.
Remaining
Displays remaining time as a difference between the set-up time and time used up till now.
Used
Display time used till now.

Besides the Enter Work panel the Browse Work is available containing a list of completed work entries. 

 

Lines in Enter Work Panel:

Registration No.
Enter or select a registration number of employee, who carried out work in the operation.
Employee
Enter or select a name of employee (instead of registration number). You can only select among the actively-employed.
Start Time
(1) Alternate entry of start of work expressed in format h:min:sec or dd:mm:yyy h:min:sec if you defined start/end.

Enter work completed together with date when work is carried out after midnight. To enter date in format including date requires to be set check Date Input at Start or End of Operation in settings of work orders in Administration Panel. It has to be noted that the checkbox is visible only when you already checked Start - End of Operation in Enter Data panel. With it you set whether the user can enter start or end of operation at all.

End
(1) Alternate entry of end of work expressed in format h:min:sec or dd:mm:yyy h:min:sec if you defined start/end.

Enter work completed together with date when work is carried out after midnight. Time
(2) Enter alternate time used in decimal value (hours).
Time (h)(3) Enter alternate time used in whole value (hours).
Time (min) (3) Enter alternate time used in whole value (minutes).
Time (sec)(3) Enter alternate time used in whole value (seconds).
Good
Enter amount of "good" operations in production.
Bad
Enter amount of "bad" operations in production.
Hold-Up
Enter time of hold-up when carrying out operation.
Hold-Up Reason Enter or select hold-up reason when carrying out operation.
Scrap Reason Enter or select scrap reason when carrying out operation.
ET
Enter or select earnings type used.
Type of Time
Enter or select type of time to be used: That is, production time (Tpr), set-up time (Tsu) or both together. By first entry of work completed you are by default offered the formula Tpr+1×Tsu. With any additional entry you are offered formula Tpr.
Tpr
Displays production time used in operation. It can be found in manufacturing specification.
Tsu
Displays setup time used in operation. It can be found in manufacturing specification.
Recogn. Pcs
Displays an approved quantity (in relation to the amounts in "good" and "bad") being recognized in work completed.
Recognized Time
Displays production time being recognized in work completed.
Price
Displays value of the work completed.
Note
Enter any text as a note to the line of finished work. Click 66284.gif to enter note. If you make any changes the following icon 66285.gif is displayed.

 

Below you can find the following buttons:

 

OK
Click it to confirm the entered work completed.

Cancel
Click it to cancel entered work-related data. That is, data you entered are deleted.

 

Checking Create WO Work Preparation you are allowed to enter operations not entered in manufacturing specification. That is, they are created simultaneously while performing input of completed work to work order.

 

In this case entering data in Issue Materials panel is somewhat different as can be observed in the follow-up. The difference occurs when defining operation:

 

Operation
Enter or select ID and name of operation.
Resource
Enter or select a resource. Changing resource refreshes department field, that is, if Resource Register is set in Post to Department Set In.
Used
Displays reported time used during operation.
Used
Displays the entered time required when carrying out operation.

 

To enter and confirm data is done in the same way as when issuing existing operations.

Having confirmed entry a check is run prior to relieving of inventory. In case of error occurring a message window opens displaying a list of errors. The following errors could appear:
