Items for Closing

 

In the lower part of the window are items marked for closing (Debit, Credit) and list of all open items (Open Debit, Open Credit). We can move items from the lower to upper window with double click (not on document number or link document number) or space key. Same way is for moving items back to lower window.

 

 

Items for closing: 

Debit (F4)

Information on debit entries chosen for closure with data from journal entry items:

  • Document – document number from posted position in journal entry.
  • Linked Doc. – linked document number from  posted position in journal entry. 
  • Amount – amount from a document or open amount.
  • Value Date - due date from posted position in journal entry.
  • Doc. Date – date of a document.
  • VAT Date - VAT date. This date is crucial when closing VAT accounts.
  • Journal Entry – number of journal entry.
  • Line – line number from journal entry.
    Listed data can be easily sorted with a click on  the top of chosen column.

We use  button for a more detailed search for the positions.

Credit (F6)

Information on credit entries chosen for closure with data from journal entry items :

  • Document – document number from posted position in journal entry.
  • Linked Doc. – linked document number from  posted position in journal entry. 
  • Amount – amount from a document or open amount.
  • Value Date - due date from posted position in journal entry.
  • Doc. Date – date of a document.
  • VAT Date - VAT date. This date is crucial when closing VAT accounts.
