Ad-Hoc analyses window
Ad-Hoc analyses window
An-Hoc analyses window will show your results of your analysis. Fields in black square were defined as dimensions and fields in orange square as measures. You can set dimensions to columns (red square) or rows (green square) to filter data (on drag and drop). Whatever you move to orange square area will be treated as measure.
When you add chart (horizontally or graphically) to window, an upper row with chart settings will appear (yellow square). This row enables you to define what type of graph would you like to see (column, line, piechart...), you can also edit appearance (color and background), export chart in different file formats or edit your chart in chart designer.

Created structure can be also stored as a template, which simplify data view later on. Template can be stored by clicking on button Templates
where you select Form Templates|Save current as template. When you create a template, it will store the following information:
- Dimension/Measure structure (which dimensions and measurements are on the panel).
- Dimension location (which dimension is on row and which on column section).
- Filter (filters for all dimensions/measures).
- Chart (is chart visible and where is it located).

Grid also contains right-click features.
