Relieving Inventory

64158.gif64159.gif64160.gif

After forwarding a work order to processing. child items are relieved and the compound item to be processed with the work order is posted. Both value and material amounts get posted. A document type as set for use in Document Types settings is created for each child item regardless of its type (good, material, product, service, etc...). Using this document type you relieve inventory by the used quantity of child item from a specific warehouse. Plus, the value of balance on account is decreased.

Having relieved inventory of all child items, the compound item is posted using the document set in the Document Types | Work Orders. By doing this posting of a certain quantity of item can be posted to the specified warehouse. At the same time the value of balance on account for finished products as set in Document Types settings increases.
