Scheduling
 |
This panel can be used to define parameters that are important for determining of planning procedures, scheduling and work capacities.

Scheduling Methods - In this section you can select the method for the scheduling when creating items. The selected method will reflect in specifying scheduling alternatives of a bill of material when generating a Basic BOM.
No Scheduling |
If you select this option, the program will not use scheduling in the item production processing. The anticipated start and end date of the item production are the same. |
By Lead Times |
If you select this option, the program will calculate the end and start date of the item production on the basis of defined lead times of production which are to be defined for an individual alternative of a basic BOM. Scheduling by lead times is special, because, due to its simplified data preparation, the quantity of planed production does not affect the production time. |
By Daily Quantities |
If you select this option, the program will calculate the end and start date of the item production on the basis of defined daily quantities for the production which are to be determined for an individual alternative of a basic BOM. To the bill of materials will also be defined the number of hours for the production of the daily quantity, because availability of resources can differ (i.e. shift work). |
By Formula for Technological Procedure |
If you select this option, the program will calculate the end and start date of the item production on the basis of time information calculated by the formula that you can define in the field on the right side. The field is available only if you select this option. |
Formula |
You can calculate the price for labor costs by a certain formula on the basis of the operational norms. You can generate the formula for the calculation of the production time in the register of formulas, and according to the syntax from the formulas chapter. To create these formulas, you can use following variables:
TerminTpz … set up time of an operation
TerminTn … processing time of an operation
TerminN … total number of items
TerminRKap … capacity of the operation resource
TerminIMesta … total number of operational positions
Formula (#TerminTpz# + (#TerminTn# * #TerminN#) ) / #TerminRKap# is totally equal to a deadline calculation with scheduling by technological procedures. |
By Technological Procedures |
If you select this option, the program will calculate the end and start date on the basis of actual time information of operations in technological procedures of Basic BOMs. |
Default Values
Purchase Calendar |
In this field you can select a predefined calendar for the creation of purchase orders from the material requirements scheduling. |
Manufacturing Calendar |
In this field you can select a predefined calendar for the creation of work orders from the material requirements scheduling. |
Deliver Within |
Delivery deadline for the item (in number of days). It will be a default deadline when creating an item in the Items register | Costing/Pricing panel | Costing section.
It can be used in the procedure of material requirements scheduling, to schedule purchase orders. |
Merge Products Appearing Within (days) |
Deadline (in number of days) for the merging of individual finished or semi-finished products. It will be a default merge date when creating an item in the Items register | Costing/Pricing panel | Costing section.
It can be used in the procedure of material requirements scheduling, to merge individual requirements of an item to joint requirements for a certain period - time unit determined in number of days. |
Merge Materials Appearing Within (days) |
Deadline (in number of days) for the merging of individual materials. It will be a default merge date when creating an item in the Items register | Costing/Pricing panel | Costing section.
It can be used in the procedure of material requirements scheduling, to merge a certain material to joint requirements for a certain period - time unit determined in number of days. |
Primary Date |
With this parameter you can set whether the primary date will be start or end date. The program will use the parameter if it cannot determine from updated data the basis for the calculation of the dependent date. For example, changed planned item quantity on the WO, where the processing time will increase if the quantity will increase. This means that you have to start with work earlier in order to finish with the production in the right time or you will finish later.
- Start Date - If you select this option, the dependent date will be the end date
- End Date - If you select this option, the dependent date will be the start date.

Procedures
WO Scheduling |
If you select this option, the program will when releasing work orders calculate and define scheduling of WO operations. |
Include Set-Up Time |
-
- If you select this option, the program will in the calculation of terms by technological procedures include also set-up times,
- If you do not select this option, the program will only include processing times.
