Toolbar Functions

Toolbar Functions
The toolbar of Browsing incidents contains:
Enables us to go back to the previously active window (like the Back function in a browser). |
A shortcut to the window for reporting a new incident (see Creating a new incident).
The same shortcut can also be found in the right-click menu of each individual incident report.
Field selection
Clicking this icon gives us the option to create an overview of the incident reports with the desired selected data (see Customizing the incident list). |
Answer
A shortcut to the window for adding an answer to the currently selected incident (see Adding an answer).
The same shortcut can also be found in the right-click menu of each individual incident report.
Add with reference
A shortcut to the window for entering a new incident (see Creating a new incident). In this way, a reference to the linked event is also entered into the Linked events panel of the newly created incident. The linked event is the event that was active when this function was selected.
The same shortcut can also be found in the right-click menu of each individual incident report.
Enables us to search for an incident by its internal number. We enter the full incident number and click the continue icon .
For an advanced search by any criteria (see Filtering and sorting incidents)
Print
We create a report of the incident and all answers related to it. |
Save
Saves a new incident or the changes to it (see Creating a new incident). |
Add to favorites
We can also save frequently used filtering and sorting criteria into the favourite settings menu, to make our work easier.
The use of this function (and therefore the icon) is only possible if, beforehand, we filtered the criteria by at least one criterion (see Filtering and sorting incidents)!
This function is reserved for users with administrator permissions!

WARNING
If you do not see a particular function listed above in the toolbar, it means that the function is not active in this phase of work with incidents. For example, the icon for giving an answer to an incident is not active until we move to the individual incident (select it as the incident we want to add an answer to).
