Bank Account Structure
The 15-digit transaction account number is composed of:

- Lines 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5: Assigning codes to banks, savings banks and
credit unions as set by the Bank of Slovenia.
- Banks: Lines 1 and 2 contain the bank code; on the other hand, lines
3, 4 and 5 contain the bank branch. The only exception are banks with
a modified structure (post office savings bank), where line 1 represents
the bank code. Lines 2, 3, 4 and 5 contain individual bank branches
(i.e.. bank branch or post office savings bank).
- Savings Banks: Line 1 holds a standard number value for savings
bank (by default 8), and lines 2 and 3 hold the savings bank code. Lines
4 and 5 contain bank branches of savings bank.
- Credit Union: Lines 1 and 2 hold a standard number value for credit
union (by default 89), and lines 3, 4, and 5 contain the corresponding
code.

Bank Branches when setting up transaction
accounts. |
- Lines 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13: Here is contained number of the
account opened at bank branches, savings banks and credit unions.
- Lines 14 and 15: Check digits, calculated according to a
simplified procedure for MOD 97-10 for ISO 7064.
Do not separate bank accounts using punctuation. Otherwise you can delimit
1st and 2nd field using white space or dash (-) when entering manually.
