Entering PANTHEON

When PANTHEON is opening, the user must log in using the Login window. After successfully logging in, the user shows the PANTHEON program window adjusted to the settings and permissions of the logged in user.

HINT

For more information about the PANTHEON program window components and other forms, as well as how to edit them, see the chapters PANTHEON windows and forms.

The following chapters presents how to enter or log into PANTHEON.

PANTHEON Login Window

A window for entering data about the user and the company. Correctly entered data make sure the connection between the program, the database and the server is successful. Selecting the user influences the user settings and permissions when using the program.

This chapter describes the process of correctly logging into the program.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) an electronic authentication method in which a user is granted access to PANTHEON only after successfully presenting more pieces of evidence (or factors) to an authentication mechanism.

This chapter contains information and use cases on how to enable and use MFA in PANTHEON.

Program Upgrade Notification Service for Host Database Users For companies that have their databases hosted on Hosting, the system has been set up to upgrade their databases to a new version. In order for users not to miss upgrade notifications, a banner has been added to the Login window to notify them of the intended database upgrade and the progress of the upgrade.
Automatic Synchronisation of the Program Version with the Database Version Accounting services access their clients' databases, where they provide accounting services. It may happen that the versions of the program and the database are not synchronized. In this case, the system will automatically perform the synchronization of the versions of the program and the database.
