Create Service WO

   

The Create Service WO form allows you to create service work orders either from Service Order form or from Work Orders form.

This form allows you to create special service WO orders either for items in need for repair (e.g. items from customer claims) or our own resources, tools or fixed assets.

Warning

Create Service WO form can only create work orders with the WO document type that has Service selected as the Production Type.

 

The form contains these functionalities.

Customer Select the customer from the Subjects register.
Consignee Select the consignee from the Subjects register.
Service Select the item (operation or product) for the service from Items register.
WO Date Select the date of the WO. Current date is entered by default.
Document Type Select the document type for WO. Only document types that have Production Type set as Service can be selected.
Priority

Select the priority for the WO. Options are:

  • 1 - High priority
  • 5 - Normal priority
  • 10 - Low priority
(Radio buttons)

By selecting the radio button, you determine the subject of the service. Options are:

  • Item - This option opens a WO for item service (e.g. customer claim).
  • Resource - This option opens a WO for resource maintenace or service.
  • Tool - This option opens a WO for tool maintenance or service.
  • Fixed Asset - Thi soption opens a WO for fixed asset service (e.g. vechicle).
Item in Service  Select an item from Items register on which the service will be done. The field is visible only if Item radio button is selected.
Resource in Service  Select a resource from Resources register on which the service will be done. The field is visible only if Resource radio button is selected.
Tool in Service Select a tool from Tools register on which the service will be done. The field is visible only if Tool radio button is selected.
FA in service Select a fixed asset from Fixed Assets register on which the service will be done. The field is visible only if Fixed Asset radio button is selected.
Location Enter a location of service
Maintenance Select the maintenance for which the WO will be created. This field is only visible if Resource or Tool radio button is selected.
Department Select the department from Subjects register.
Cost. ctr. Select the cost center from Cost Centers register.
Start Date Select the start date for the WO.
End Date Select the end date for the WO.
Document Select the order document to link with the WO.
(Line) Enter the line of the item from the document linked in the Document field.
Note Enter a note.
Create WO in BOM Sublevels If checked, the WOs will be created for all BOM sublevels, specified in To Level field.
To Level

Select the BOM level to which to create WOs. Select a specific number of sublevels or select All to create WOs for all sublevels.

The checkbox is visible only if Create WO in BOM Subleves is selected.
Without BOM If checked, WO is created without the BOM. The checkbox is visible only if Create WO in BOM Sublevels is not selected.

Copy Tools

 If checked, tools are copied to the WO.
Copy Rules If checked, regulations are copied to the WO.
Copy Hand Tools If checked, hand tools are copied to the WO.
Show Log If checked, a log will be displayed after the creation of the WO.
Create Click on this button to create WOs, according to parameters set in this form.
