Pa55,LT(3)/b.555611/baza PRAZNA/SQL 2005-exp:
Po:
1. izvedenem vnosu cca 500 identov (Import Wizard),
2. otvoritvi zaloge (14I) - taisti Identi,
3. 1x kreiranju naročila dobaviltelju (020),
4. brisanju prejšnjega dokumenta otvoritve zaloge, in
5. kreiranju novega dokumenta v "Prevzem/nakup-tujina (160),
se mi je baza (_Data.MDF) skrčila s 524 MB na 512 MB, log file (_Log.LDF) pa je narastel s prvotnih 231 MB na 365 MB,
tako da je 7zip (maximum) backupa sedaj 113 MB (prej "samo" 49 MB.
S kakšno pomladno dieto lahko zbijem kakšen MB?

ps, res pa je, da sem pri vsakem koraku zelo telovadil (ponovitve), ker so me grizle Panteončkove bolhe.

Tudi SQL strežnik je potrebno administrirati. Rats log file-a je by-design v MS SQL serverju takšna, da raste do backupa. Backup ga potem odreže, vendar pa pusti prostor rezerviran. Lahko rečem, da je vaša baza v bistvu kar majhna, tako da se glede tega nebi preveč obremenjeval. (Pri meni 13.387,25 MB)
Je pa res, da je treba narediti malo vsakodnevne nege. Predlagam, da si naredite "Maintenance plan", ki se izvaja vsako noč.
Startajo pa naj se naprimer opravila check database, reorganize index, rebuild index, update statistic in shring database.
