Fixed Asset Structure
The Fixed Assets Structure tab provides a visual and structured representation of how individual fixed assets relate to each other in cases where one asset is a physical or functional component of another. This hierarchical view is especially useful for managing complex assets that are made up of multiple parts, such as machinery composed of modular units.
The Fixed Assets Structure tab can be accessed in the Fixed assets, Small Tools and Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition registers.

The Fixed Assets Structure tab consists of the following functional units:
Fixed Asset Structure |
Displays the hierarchical arrangement of assets in a tree-like view. Each entry represents an asset, which consists of its Inventory Number and Name. Assets that are components of others are nested beneath their parent assets. Use the arrow next to the Fixed Asset Structure name or double-click a top-Level item to expand or collapse its child components. |
Level |
Indicates the depth or hierarchy Level of each asset in the structure. Level 1 represents the main or parent asset, while subsequent Levels represent sub-assets or components. |
Serial Number |
Displays the asset’s unique identifier or Serial Number. This field is automatically populated if the option Fill manuf. Part no. with item’s serial number is selected during the Transfer to Fixed Assets or Transfer to Fixed Assets in Acquisition process. Serial Number helps track individual components within a composite asset structure. |
Maintenance Company |
Maintenance Company is a Custom Text Field, configured by the person responsible.
Right-clicking within the Fixed Assets Structure tab opens a menu that enables the display or removal of Custom Text Fields, configured through the Administration Panel. For instance, displaying the Maintenance Company field makes it possible to record the name of the internal or external service provider responsible for maintaining the asset or its components.
