Transfer of animals

Functionality Transfer of animals enables the transfer of animals between owners along with the history of veterinary events.

The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Code lists |​ Code list of owners and animals, by clicking the button Wizards in the toolbar.

Below, we have prepared a practical example of transferring animal data from one entity to another.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE The responsible person in the veterinary clinic wants to transfer data or animals from the entity Shelter Carnivores to Lia Bengal. The owner of the animal Lia Bengal has adopted a cat from the shelter, so the responsible person will transfer the data of the cat Shiba to her record. 1. Code list of owners and animals

The responsible person wants to transfer data about the animal from one entity to another.

For this purpose, they select the menu Veterinary | Code lists | Code list of owners and animals.

The first entry in the code list opens.

The form Find owners and animals is opened with the key combination CTRL + F or by clicking the button  (Search).

In the field Search string they enter: shelter.

In the lower part of the window in the section Overview records of all animals of the entity are displayed. When positioned on one entry, they click the button Select.

The Code list of owners and animals opens on the record of the selected owner.

Continues to the selection of the wizard.

2. Transfer of animals

In the toolbar, they click the button  (Wizards). 

A number of options for selecting functionality are displayed.

In our case, they select: Transfer of animals.

The window Transfer animalopens.

The field Transfer fromis automatically filled, in our case from: Shelter carnivores.

In the lower part of the window in the section Transfer of animals the data of all animals from the selected entity is filled in.

Continues to select the entity to which they want to transfer the animal in the field Transfer to. In our case, they select: Lia Bengal.

The responsible person checks the confirmation box next to the record or position of the animal they want to transfer to the new entity. In our case, next to the record: Shiba.

To transfer the data, they click the button Transfer.

A confirmation window appears: Do you really want to transfer the data?

The responsible person confirms the window by clicking the button Confirm.

An information message appears: The transfer of the animal was successful!

All data of the cat Shiba has been transferred to the record of the owner Lia Bengal (shown in the image below).
