Import animal owners
In the program PANTHEON VET there is a functionality available Import animal owners via Excel file.
The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Ciphers | Cipher of owners and animals, by clicking the button Import/Export in the toolbar.
Below, we have prepared a user case for importing owner data from an Excel table.

CASE DESCRIPTION
The responsible person wants to import a record of the owner into the Cipher of owners and animals using the Import animal owners functionality, which they previously entered into a local Excel table. They do this by following these steps:

- Import animal owners

1. Cipher of owners and animals
The responsible person wants to access the import of animal owners from the Excel table.
To this end, they select the menu Veterinary | Ciphers | Cipher of owners and animals.
The first entry in the cipher opens.
They continue to open the window for importing owners.
2. Import animal owners
In the toolbar, they click the button 
(Import/Export data).
Several options for selecting functionality are displayed.
In our case, they select: Import animal owners.
The window Import animalsopens.
In the field Template , the template: Import owners is automatically selected accordingly.
To import the previously created Excel table, they click the button Import from file.

TIP
You can download the template for Excel tables to your local disk by clicking the button Export template.

The import menu opens where they select the file from the local disk and the button Open.
The data from the Excel table is copied into the appropriate columns (shown in the image below).
Importing animals is saved by clicking the button Save.
The program reports the information: Import completed. Do you want to close the import?
The responsible person confirms the command by clicking the button Yes.
