History

Overview of animal history provides a comprehensive overview of events recorded for the animal. This allows the veterinarian to review documentation (reports, etc.) and all created treatments in one place, gaining a quick insight into the animal's health status.

In this chapter, we will present an example of quick access to Overview of animal history from the document Treatment. The functionality is available in treatment documents located in the menu Veterinary | Treatment.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program's forms, read the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Main taskbar.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The owner, Peter Pritlikavi, brings the cat Lola to the veterinary clinic for a follow-up examination after a sterilization procedure. The animal is not feeling well. Since the same veterinarian who performed the procedure is not available at the clinic, another veterinarian who will now examine the cat wants to learn more details about the surgery and past veterinary treatments recorded in the animal's file. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening the treatment form and entering data in the Owner/Animal Entry tab
  2. Opening the Overview of animal history form

1. Opening the treatment form and enteringdata in the Owner/ Animal Entry tab

The responsible person at the clinic opens the treatment document form.

  • In the menu clicks Veterinary | Treatment and in our case selects the document type: CLI3 - Clinic.

The detailed procedure for creating a new document and entering data in the Owner/Animal Entry tab is described in the chapter Entering treatment (general).

2. Opening the Overview of animal history form

The responsible person on the treatment form wants to review the animal's history.

  • To do this, they click the History

  • button. The formOverview of animal history

opens, in our case for the cat Lola.

TIP For more details about the data and functionality usage, read the chapterOverview of animal history
