Recapitulation

Recapitulation on the treatment documents allows for a quick overview of the identity of the materials and services used. In the case of treating multiple animals on one treatment document, it is possible to review the recapitulation for each individual animal or the entire treatment.

Data on the recapitulation can be found in the tab Performed service, by clicking on the panel .

In this chapter, we will present an example of reviewing the data on the recapitulation of an individual animal on the same treatment document.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CASE

In the treatment at the veterinary clinic, there were two dogs, the same owner, due to suspected poisoning. The first dog required a transfusion after examination due to poisoning, while the second dog was clinically examined. The veterinarian wants to check the recapitulation of the treatment document before creating an invoice for the performed service. They want to review the recapitulation for each individual dog and the overall recapitulation of the entire treatment. This is done in the following steps:

  1. Recapitulation for individual animal
  2. Recapitulation of the entire treatment

1. Recapitulation for individual animal

The responsible person wants to check on the treatment documents, where two animals were treated simultaneously , the consumption of materials and the value of the service for each animal separately. In the tab

  • Performed service they click Recapitulation.

Additional fields of the previously hidden panel

  • Recapitulation. The optional checkbox
  • Animal, is automatically checked, which means that the data is displayed for each individual animal in the treatment.

  • The data for the first animal Luna is displayed, where we see that a service was performed for her with the title: Laboratory - serological diagnostics and the material used: Transfusion system - 25 pcs/package and a supporting bandage. The quantities and prices of the performed service and the consumed material are shown.
  • Then they click in the table, where the list of treated animals is, on the next animal, in our case Eliah. The data on the Recapitulation panel changes.
  • Now we see that only the service was performed for the second animal: Clinical examination of the dog.

2. Recapitulation of the entire treatment

In the second step, they want to check the overall recapitulation of the entire treatment document, where data from all treated animals is included.

  • On the Recapitulation panel, they select the switch Treatment.

  • Now they see all records of performed services for all included animals, as well as all consumed materials. The quantities and prices of the performed services and consumed materials for the treatment of both dogs together are displayed.
TIP
  1. No matter which animal you are positioned on in the list of animals in treatment, on the Recapitulationpanel, after clicking on the switch Treatment, the entire list of all consumed materials and performed services is displayed.
  2. In case you initially selected Group treatment, the data on the Recapitulationpanel, after clicking on the switch Animal, evenly distributes the values and quantities to each individual animal.
