Barcode Scanner

Barcode Scanner allows you to enter product receiving or material issue with barcode scanner.

Selecting Barcode Scanner opens submenu with folloving items:
- Product - Quantity -> Transfer quantityfor product
- Product - Shrinkage-> Transfer shrinkage for product
- Material- Quantity -> Transfer quantityfor material
- Material- Shrinkage-> Transfer shrinkage for material

By selecting one of the option from submenu a widow below is shown:

The following data can be observed here:
Number |
Displays a document or better a work order number to which you are adding lines. |
Date |
Enter or select a date of issue. |
Warehouse |
Enter or select an ID of warehouse from which you issue materials.
If you leave the field empty, the default warehouse is filled-in, according to the document types of work orders and item types as well.

Here you can enter both items with serial number tracking switched on as well as those which do not have it set. Whenever entering/transferring items including serial numbers you separate them by using a separator (by default a semi-colon is used as separator - ";" but you can change it in Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Goods | Barcode Scanner at will. If you selected With Transfer File option in program parameters yet you did not specify it, you are requested to enter name of file for transfer before continuing.

If the item has Auto-Assign S/N checked in Issue Document Types register, the serial number is automatically relieved from inventory.
There are some checks performed during data transfer. A log is shown in case of errors occurring.
Below you can observe the errors which could occur:
ID does not exist! |
Informs you that an item ID does not exist. |
No work preparation! |
Informs you that an item is not included in work preparation, that is, the entered quantity exceeds the one in work preparation. |
Insufficient stock! |
Informs you that an item's available stock is insufficient. |
Serial number does not exist! |
Informs you that an item's serial number does not exist on warehouse. |
Serial number not in stock! |
Informs you that the serial number is not in stock. |
Serial number already on work order! |
Informs you that a serial number has already been entered in work order - for items having serial number tracking set to S or E. |
