OLAP Analysis

OLAP analysis can be added also to dashboard. Prerequisite for this is created template from OLAP analysis.

When you select OLAP analysis as dashboard element type three fields will appear. I the bottom dropdown you select OLAP template from the menu. Name of an element is automatically filled from type of OLAP cube that you added to dashboard element whereas description filed is left blank. Both of those fields can be changed to be shown on the dashboard.

Hint Operation functionalities of OLAP cubes on dashboards are: drill-down, filtering and pivoting. Drill-through is not operational.

To analyse OLAP cubes on dashboards and up-to-date data you have to process cubes. You also have to have up-to-date .dlls. If you don't have them installed, PANTHEON will transfer them when dashboard with OLAP cube is opened.

Move ZEUS Analysis in table view to dashboard. These are current ZEUS Analysis, meaning that you can  (in the Dashboard Components register window) execute all operations using them, that is, use them in the same way you do in ZEUS Analyses themselves.

Thus you can run:

• drill down
• pivoting
• filtering
• drill through

You can also move ZEUS Analyses in chart view to the dashboard.
