Installation process

Here is the installation process of the PANTHEON software and its necessary components.

The process includes several installation steps: from the necessary technical requirements and setting up the installation environment, through the choice of the licence and the types of software to be installed, and concluding with the ordering of additional services. The chapter describes the basic procedures for version change, migration and uninstallation.

Process description:

1. Configuring your computer – PANTHEON requires the appropriate hardware and software to function. In this section we describe the technical requirements of the necessary hardware and software.
2. Licensing and serial numbers – PANTHEON is a licensing programme. There are several licences to choose from. In this section we present the process of selecting and obtaining a licence and the serial number required to install the program.
3. Regional settings – The appropriate regional settings are required for the operation of the sharrows and other exceptions. In this section we describe the necessary settings for PANTHEON to work in Slovene.
4. Different installation types depending on network configuration PANTHEON allows different installations. In this section we describe the installation types.
5. Local installation of PANTHEON and Installing PANTHEON hosting - This section describes the differences between running and installing PANTHEON locally or in hosting. The installation steps are shown.
6. Subscribe and set up eCommerce services - Once the PANTHEON installation is complete, you can choose from additional eCommerce services. This section describes the additional eCommerce services and the process of ordering and installing them.
7. List of online services - PANTHEON requires access to online services to function. In this section we show the list of necessary services that we need to give the program access to in order to work properly.
8. Changing version - PANTHEON is constantly updated. In this section we describe the procedure for manually changing the version of a program if it is not done automatically.
9. Migrate to a new server - PANTHEON allows several types of installations. In this section we describe how to migrate the application to a new server.
10. Uninstalling a program - This section describes how to uninstall a program.
