Customs Tariffs Register

The Customs Tariffs register contains customs tariffs and customs duty rates, which is then
in turn entered in the
Customs section of the
General panel of the Items
register.
This information is the used for Single Administrative
Documents and
Customs Warehousing.
The customs duty set here will also be used for costing if the Customs Duty
option is set to From Customs Tariffs
(in Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Goods | General).

| The only available wizard is for
copying tariff preferences. Tariff
preferences are not cloned when cloning a tariff. This wizard is useful
when multiple tariffs have the same tariff preference. |
 |
When creating customs documents, the
program look for the applicable customs duty rate in the following order:
- if a rate is specified for a customs union and the country of origin is
a member of that union, the rate for the customs union is used, else
- if a rate is specified for the country of origin, that one is used, else
- the standard rate is used.
