Changing Small Tools

Small Tools

Selecting the Small Tools option in the Type of Change box (Change tab of the Change Components and Resources window) displays following criteria.

 

Set criteria to change small tools in the selected manufacturing specifcations. Then proceed with selecting a component where you want to make changes. Finally, set a new small tool or enter additional parameters.

Similar procedure is used when changing data in lines of operations where you can change item, name or resource of operations, regulations, tools, etc.

Refresh data generating a list of components you would like to replace in corresponding specifications.

Product Criteria

Click the Refresh button to generate available data in the Change panel. Collapse or display the panel by clicking the icon.

Because a great number of data appears, only relevant data (material- or operation-related) is displayed.

Sel.
If checked, it marks a line that will be changed. Otherwise the line isn't included.
Product
Displays an ID of product in specification.
Product Name
Displays a name of the product.
Prod. Item Type
Displays an item type.
Prod. Prim. Cat.
Displays a primary category ID.
Prod. Sec. Cat.
Displays a secondary category ID.
Alt.
Displays an alternate line where you want to make changes.
Line
Displays a line number where you want to make changes.
Component ID
Displays an ID of component to change.
Component Name
Displays a name of the component.  
Lead Time U/M
Displayst a unit of measurement (U/M).
Comp. Item Type
Displays a component item type ID.
Line Displays a consecutive number of small tool or an ID of product or semi-product.

 
Small Tool Displays a small tool ID.

 
New Small Tool Gives a short text describing (naming) the small tool.

Enter or select a name of item.
Item Type
Enter or select an item type.
Prim. Cat.
Enter or select a primary category ID.
Secondary Categ.
Enter or select a secondary category ID.

Component Criteria

Item
Enter or select an item that you want to change in the selected group of specifications.
Name
Enter or select a name of item.
Item Type
Enter or select an item type.

Enter or select a resource ID.
