Search

Owner and Animal Codebook includes all the basic data needed in the veterinary clinic for their work with clients or patients. The basic step for the receptionist when the owner arrives with the animal at the veterinary clinic is to find the owner or the animal in the codebook. 

In this chapter, we will present an example of searching for an owner and an animal. The functionality is located in the menu  Veterinary | Codebooks |​ Owner and Animal Codebook, by clicking on the button  (Search).

We have divided the manual into the following chapters:

Simple

In the tab Simple you can search by both owner and animal data. In case of incomplete information, you can enter multiple data in the search field at once, and the search engine will return the result with the most matches to the search criteria. In this chapter, we have prepared an example of searching for an owner. 
Advanced

In the tab Advanced you can search by animal data entered in individual fields of the program. The search engine also allows searching through a list of animals with different statuses (inactive, dead, etc.). In this chapter, we have prepared an example of searching for an animal by identification number, using a code reader.
