Treatment

Treating animals is a business event for the veterinary company. Different types of animal treatments allow you better visibility and organization of data.

In this chapter, we will present an example of creating a treatment from the animal history review form. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Animal History Review.

CASE DESCRIPTION The animal owner, Lili Siam, brought her Siamese cat Simba to the veterinary clinic. The veterinarian reviewed the animal's history. From this functionality, she wants to create a new treatment. She does this by following these steps: Animal History Review Form Creating a Treatment

1. Animal History Review Form

The responsible person wants to create a new treatment for the animal Simba on the animal history review form.

On the form, she already has the owner's details filled in: Lili Siam.

TIP Instructions for searching for the owner on the Animal History Review form can be found in the chapter Searching in Animal History Review and Advanced Search.

When selecting the owner from the list, the fields in the tab Basic Data about the animal: Simba are also filled in.

WARNING If the owner has multiple animals registered, the appropriate animal must be selected from the dropdown list of the field Animal.

Next, she wants to create a new treatment for the cat.

2. Creating a Treatment

​In the header of the form clicks on the button  (Treatment).

WARNING The button Treatment is active only when we have filled in the owner's details. Before that, the button is inactive .

A window appears Select Treatment.

In the field Veterinarian she selects the veterinarian who will perform the treatment. In our case, she selects: Valerija Veterinarian.

By clicking on the dropdown list of the field Last. event it shows the options for treatment documentsthat she has created in Document Type Codebook.

In our case, she selects: CLI2 - Stomatology.

She confirms the entry by clicking the button Confirm.

An IRIS message appears: IRIS 1007031 - Transfer of the animal for treatment is completed!

The responsible person can open the created treatment by selecting the option to continue Open or view the instructions for the area with the IRIS message by clicking on the selection View Instructions.

In our case, she selects: Open.

The created treatment document opens, type CLI2 - Stomatology as shown in the image below.
