Entry in the Vaccination Types Register

Some vaccinations are legally mandatory (rabies) and are reported in national databases. When a veterinarian vaccinates an animal, in addition to the vaccine, they use other materials or additional medication. For this purpose, in the program PANTHEON VET pre-sets Vaccination Types Register, which allows for easy recording of the vaccination performed later.

In this chapter, we will present an example of entering vaccination type codes. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Registers | Vaccination Types Register

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Vaccination Types Register.

CASE DESCRIPTION

In the veterinary clinic, a new type of vaccine (Rabisin) has been obtained for rabies vaccination. The responsible person will prepare the appropriate register so that when vaccinating with the new Rabisin vaccine, they can easily record the vaccination for treatment. The process of entering the new code is described below.

  • The responsible person in the veterinary clinic opens the Vaccination Types Register.

  • They create a new line by pressing the Insert key on the keyboard.

TIP

To create a new line in the table, you can press the Insert key on the keyboard or the 'down arrow' key.

  • In the field Code they enter in our case: 3.

  • In the field Name they enter: VACCINATION DOG - RABISIN.

TIP

In the field Name enter data from which you can easily determine which type of animal the vaccine is for and with which vaccine you are vaccinating.

  • The responsible person continues entering in the field Vaccine ID, where they select the prepared ID from the dropdown list. In our case: DOG_RABIES.
TIP

The Vaccine ID most often has an accounting type of package (e.g., 204). Read the detailed process of creating an ID in the chapter Entering ID for Package

  • In the field Period the responsible person enters in our case: 1.

  • In the field Type of Period they select from the dropdown list: Year.

  • The responsible person continues entering in the field Qty. In our case, they enter: 1.

  • In the field Tax ID they select from the dropdown list: Tax.

WARNING

In the entry of vaccination in the register, you can define that the selected type of vaccination is pre-set by marking the switch in the column Def. When using the functionality New Vaccination , the data about the type of vaccination is automatically transferred to the treatment document.

  • In the field EMŠO check the box, as it is a mandatory data for reporting.

  •  In the field Export check the box, as they will export the data to the national database.

  • In the field Send SMS check the box, as they will notify their clients via SMS

  • The responsible person in the field SMS Template selects from the dropdown list: Vaccination.

TIP

Set up the list of SMS templates in advance in the Administrator Console. The detailed process is described in the chapter SMS Settings

WARNING

In the field A the checkbox is automatically assigned when creating a new line. This makes the code active for use; otherwise, the code will not appear on the list for use.
