You can open the window by clicking the Copy Spec command in wizards menu of product specification. Or in wizards menu of manufacturing specification (Work Preparation); or in wizards menu of plan specification.
Select the Single Operation tab in order to copy individual specifications.

Click the Copy button to copy specification according to set criteria.

A check is run before actually deleting. The following criteria are checked in individual types of specification:
- Product specification: Item, alternate
- Plan specification: Plan ID and line number, alternate
- Manufacturing Specification: Work order, alternate
- Commercial specification: ID
- Product spec history: ID, transfer time, alternate
The following messages will be displayed in case of errors occurring.




The following message is returned in case you set All for source alternate and the destination alternate is somewhere between 1-255.

You are unable to copy using the Overwrite Spec option whenever criteria and type of source specification are the same as that of destination specification (In this case trying to overwrite a specification means deleting the destination specification which is at the same time source specification.).
The following message appears when copying product spec to product spec:

The following message appears when copying manufacturing spec to manufacturing spec:

If you checked Compound Goods and Services as Phantoms, when trying to copy product spec to manufacturing or plan spec, then instead of copying phantom ID it copies IDs of components comprising the phantom assembly. You are not allowed to use Add Missing Spec Lines when trying to copy in this way.

Trying to copy to manufacturing specification a check is run for quantities already issued in WO Work Preparation. The following message is returned if you selected Overwrite Spec option and having already issued the quantities:

Trying to copy to manufacturing specification a check for work order status is run where the work order must not be assigned status Z - Closed or it must not be reversed. In this case you cannot copy specification and the following message is returned:

Trying to copy to manufacturing specification a check is run for serial numbers entered or allocated in lines of work order. The following message is returned if you selected Overwrite Spec option and having previously entered serial numbers:
