Here you can specify resource costs incurred when used in carrying out manufacturing process operations. Set work order document types and directly specify costs in costing (cost estimation) and cost analysis. In both cases, define calculation structure using formulas, whose parameters are field values, to calculate actual production costs.
Specifying Resource Costs: To display fields for entering resource costs in the General panel, you have to define them in Program Parameters.
Selecting a resource in the lookup, displays corresponding data you can view, change or delete.
Here are displayed two types of resource fields as set in the Resource register. On the left, you have a Set-up Cost box and on the right Production Cost box. You can specify fields in Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Manufacturing | Registers | Resources.

Set-up Cost
Set-up cost include cost related to set-up time (Tsu) of a specific operation. That is, they include direct set-up cost for employee work as well as cost incurred during set-up time. Basic cost incurred during work process plus cost of management and sales, that is, the so-called overhead, can be included in set-up time.
Production Cost
Production cost include cost which are related to production time time (Tpr) of a specific operaration. Here belong direct set-up cost for employee work as well as cost incurred during production time. Basic cost incurred during work process plus cost of management and sales, that is, the so-called overhead, can be included in production time.
Change values in fields using adjustment factor for a specific collective resource. For more information see Resource Cost Adjustment.
