Dashboard Reports
Reports functionality is used to create custom reports from dashboard components, text, OLAP cube, Planning, Ad-Hoc analysis, etc. Such reports can be prepared and updated periodically and exported in different formats. You can use out-of-the-box ZEUS Dashboard reports or create custom report. Reports can be the saved to computer or sent via email or web service.
First part of reports is header, where you define report ID and report name. If you select checkbox beside ID or beside name, these information will be visible on report.
Below the header we have three panels in three different tabs.
Header

In this section we define basic information about report: who created this report, who is Clerk, add custom title and text. Checking boxes displays the value in report, otherwise this value is not visible. Below you have a Preview button that becomes active, when some element are added to report.
Components
Comopnents tab enables you to add different components to created report. You can select type of component from Type combobox. Each type than enables you to select desired component from another combobox or to insert plain text if you select Text. You can also define settings for each component. You can define if you want visible name and description of component, if you want to use it as text or if you want to see report header.

Button Add enables you to add new component to report. With button Advanced you can open report editor in separate window to edit report that you added as component. Button Re-Create will discard all changes that were made with report editor and button preview will open preview of report.
Export
Tab Export enables you to define export settings: you can define export format, export type, file name and path, where report is saved.

Button Preview will open preview of created report and button Export enables you to export report according to defined settings.

If you use PANTHEON shortcut parameter /DREP with report ID you can prepare and export defined report automatically with shortcut as well as with auto scheduler. |
