Recommended hardware
- Dedicated computer/server
- Processor: > 2.0 GHz single core ali multi core > 1.6 GHz
- RAM: > 1 GB
- HD: min 20 GB (without OS)
Installation procedure
- The following screen appears after inserting the disc:

- Select the second option: "Namestitev openSUSE + Pantheon(tm) + Oracle 10g".
- A system check is performed.

- The next screen shows the preparation for automatic install. Here you
can select to install only a client or a server and client.

- Select "Namestitev
klienta in strežnika" to install the client and server.

- Next you can select how you want to partition your hard drive.
You can use the whole hard drive (deleting all existing data) or install to
a separate partition.

- If possible select "Koristi celi disk in BRIŠI
VSE PODATKE" to use the whole drive.

- Type in the name of the computer.

- The OS installation process starts. This can take from 20 to 30 minutes,
depending on the installation options and hardware.

- After OS installation is finished, the installation process continues.


- If you selected to install the database server, Oracle Database is
installed now. This may take a while, because Oracle patches are also
installed.

- After installation, the system is configured.


- After configuration is finished, a logon screen is shown. Enter the user
name: "datalab".

- And the password (lower case).

- The SUSE Linux welcome screen is shown. Close it by clicking Close.

- Click the Computer button in the bottom left corner. A menu is
shown. If PANTHEON 5.5 is not in the menu, use the Seach function to
find it or click More Applications.

- After running PANTHEON 5.5 (or any other application) a shortcut is
placed in the Recent Applications section.
