PANTHEON 5.0 offered users the option to put menu items in the Extra menu. PANTHEON 5.5 allows any menu to be customized (in the Administration Panel | Menu). The Extra menu was retained for the case of migrations from PANTHEON 5.0.

If you do not need the Extra menu, you can delete it in the Administration Panel | Menu..
