Reader
The reader allows for quick and easy searching of animals, while with the reader we read the barcode of the animal's chip.
In this chapter, we will present an example of searching for an animal in the treatment document, through the use of the button 
(Reader). The functionality is located in the treatment documents found in the menu Veterinary | Treatment, tab Owner / Animal Entry.

The veterinary clinic organized the regular annual spring vaccination of dogs against rabies. The veterinarian receives the dog that is due for vaccination. With the help of the reader, he reads the barcode of the dog's chip from the passport and thus adds it to the treatment document, where the vaccination will be performed subsequently. This is done in the following steps:
- Creating a treatment document
- Adding an animal to the treatment with the reader
- Vaccination

1. Creating a treatment document
The responsible person creates a treatment document for the animal that will be vaccinated during the treatment process.
The process of creating a new treatment document is described in the chapter Treatment Entry (general), in the second step.
2. Adding an animal to the treatment with the reader
The responsible person continues by adding the animal to the new, empty treatment document.
- In the tab Owner/Animal Entry clicks the button Reader.
- The detailed process of adding an animal is described in the chapter Readers, in the second step.
3. Vaccination
The responsible person now continues with the treatment process of the animal, where the vaccination of the dog will be performed.
