Warehouse card

The stock of medicines, materials or goods must be in the warehouse so that their consumption can be recorded on the handling documents. The user can check the stock status of the items across warehouses or the movement of items between warehouses. For this purpose, functionality is available Warehouse card.

In this chapter, we will present an example of viewing the warehouse card of the selected item. The functionality is available through the button  (Warehouse card). The functionality is located on the handling document in the tab Service performed, which can be accessed in the menu Veterinary | Handling.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, please read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Warehouse card.

CASE DESCRIPTION

The animal owner wanted to buy cat food at the reception. The receptionist found that there was not enough stock for the desired item when adding the item to the handling. She remembered that the supplier had already delivered the order. She checked whether it had already been received at the Wholesale warehouse and transferred to the Clinic warehouse, where she wanted to issue it. She did this by following these steps:

  1. Searching for open handling
  2. Reviewing the warehouse card

1. Searching for open handling and adding items

The responsible person searches for the handling to which they want to add items for sale.

  • The detailed procedure is described in the chapter Searching by the Animal History form or in the chapter Open cases.
  • In our case, the responsible person opens the handling: 23-CLI3-000010 with a double click to which they add items for sale: Cat pellets - beef.
  • The procedure for adding items in the tab Service performed is described in the chapter Calculate by items, in the second step.

2. Reviewing the warehouse card

The responsible person wants to check the warehouse card for the desired item, where they see the documents of receipts and movements.

  • By clicking in the field Name they position themselves on the item: Cat pellets - beef.
  • In the tab Service performed they click on the button  (Warehouse card).
  • A form opens Warehouse card.
TIP

More detailed instructions about the form Warehouse card and the functionalities available are described in the chapter Warehouse card.

  • The responsible person in the tab Criteria checks all the selection boxes Types of items and all Warehouses.
  • By double-clicking, they select from the list Type of print: 143 - Warehouse card.

A printout with data about the desired item opens, where the responsible person sees that the transfer to the Clinic warehouses has not yet been executed.

TIP

More detailed instructions about the transfer between warehouses and the functionalities available are described in the chapter Transfer.
