Servicing reports

Servicing report is a tool for the person responsible to keep track of resolved and unresolved claims in the company and to monitor the goods received to service or issued from it.

The person responsible wants to check which claims of customer Elizabeth Tent have been successfully resolved to date and whether any claims are still pending. In PANTHEON, this is done as follows:

CASE SUMMARY

After the end of service procedure, in which end customer Elizabeth Tent made a claim regarding the product LARA3, the person responsible at Tecta Services Department wants to check the previous resolved claims of the same customer. The person responsible wants to check for which products the customer filed claims so far and whether any claims are still pending. This is done as follows:

  1. Opening the reporting tool
  2. Defining the report criteria
  3. Selecting document type
  4. Selecting item type
  5. Creating the Solved customer claims report
  6. Creating the Unsolved customer claims report

1. Opening the reporting tool

To open the reporting tool, the person responsible opens the menu Service from the menu bar and selects the option Reports. A blank form opens for entering the criteria to be used for the Report.

2. Defining the report criteria

In the central part of the window Claim report, there are various criteria that can be used to display the desired data on the Report. For example, reports can be created for a specific item, subject, period, etc.

In this case, the person responsible wants to create a report for a specific customer, which is why customer Elizabeth Tent is selected in the field Subject.

In the section Warranty, the person responsible enables the radio button All in order create a report for all items claimed, regardless of the validity of the warranty.

3. Selecting document type

In the section Document types, the person responsible selects the PANTHEON document types to be used when creating the Report. For end customer service procedures, 1310 - Received customer claim and 3310 - Returned customer claim are used, which is why the person responsible checks the checkboxes next to these fields.

4. Selecting item type

The person responsible wants to create a report only for Tecta's own products.

By default, all checkboxes are checked in the section Item types, so the person responsible must right-click in the section and select the option Deselect all to deselect them. Then, the person responsible checks the checkboxes 300 - P - Own product and 305 - P - Own product - In cooperation.

5. Creating the Solved customer claims report

In the window Claim report, there are three groups of report types:

The person responsible wants to create a report for the end customer, which is why the tab Customers is selected. In this step, the person responsible wants to check the documents of solved claims with all related data detailed by movements.

By double-clicking the selected report type 233 - Solved customer claims report – detailed by movements, the report is generated in the report window.

The report shows all solved claims of customer Elizabeth Tent, the claimed items and their details, as well as the related receiving and issuing documents.

The report can be printed using a connected printer or exported to the desired format (such as PDF, as shown in the image below).

6. Creating the Unsolved customer claims report

Finally, the person responsible wants to check whether there are any claims for Elizabeth Tent that have not yet been solved.

By double-clicking the selected report type 192 - Unsolved customer claims report – detailed by movements, the report is generated in the report window.

The report shows all unsolved claims of customer Elizabeth Tent, the claimed items and their details, as well as the related receiving and issuing documents.
