Get Tasks

In the work process, it sometimes happens that a person who regularly does certain Tasks is absent. In that case the tasks are redirected to another user.
This is done with the use of the Get tasks feature, which is available on the User absence form.

WARNING
If the user has unread or outstanding tasks, the tasks form will be displayed automatically when PANTHEON is run. The display of tasks when PANTHEON is run can be set in the Administration panel. For more about this, see chapter Edit PANTHEON Desktop.

CASE SUMMARY
In the Tecta company, Heather Human, an employee from the HR department, notifies the department superior that she will be absent until the end of the week, due to unforseen circumstances. For this reason, the superior redirects Heather Human's work to another person, who is substituting for her.
The process of how this is done is shown below.
|
The person responsible wants to redirect Heather Human's tasks to another person.
For this purpose, the person responsible clicks the
(User Absence) button in the toolbar of the To-Do form.
A new window, User Absence, is opened.

From the drop-down list in the Substitute user field, the person responsible selects a person, who will substitute for Heather Human in her absence.
The person responsible enters the period of absence into the Absence from-to fields, in this case from 11.6.2024 to 18.6.2024.
On the right side of the form, there is the Planned work for: Accountant Ashley table, where the person responsible can see that the substitute user Accountant Ashley is present at work.
Then the person responsible clicks the Get tasks button.

All of Heather Human's tasks for the selected period are transferred to the user Accountant Ashley, who will be substituting for her.
The redirected tasks are now visible in the table of tasks for Accountant Ashley.
