New Operation
The New Operation form is used to add an operation line to the servicing WO (work order).
The form shows the operation line, operation as Item, description of the item, production time (Tpr) and set-up time (Tsu), and unit of measurement (U/M), which is automatically entered depending on the operation Item. The form also shows tools needed for operation and their description, which is automatically entered depending on the selected tool and if their description was added to the Items register.
After entering data, the additional operation is confirmed. Upon confirmation, the new operation line is added to the work BOM and it’s immediately visible in PANTHEON.
To open the form, select Servicing WO List from the menu and click one of the Sservicing WO cards. On the form, click the + (plus) button and the New Operation form will appear.
Below is a description of the form’s features:
In the operation line, the line which the new operation will have in your work BOM is displayed.
With a click on the Operation field, a drop-down menu with operation items is displayed. The new operation can be added by seelcting an operation item in the drop-down menu or it can be inserted on the empty field above a drop-down menu.
On the right side of the item, there is a Description field. This cannot be edited and will change depending on the Operation item selected. This is a description of the item if it was added to the Items register.
The Time section of the form shows three fields. The first two (Tpr and Tsu) can be edited, while in the last field data is automatically added depending on the operation item.

Production time required for completing the operation. It is a variable production time of the operation.

Set-up time required for the production of specified quantities expressed in the selected U/M.

Tools

Clicking on the Tools field, a drop-down menu will appear with tools items. A new tool can be added by selecting an tool item in the drop-down menu or it can be inserted on the empty field above the drop-down menu.

Description

Description is automatically entered depending on the selected tool and on whether their description was added to the Items register.

Left part of the form shows the two action buttons:

Cancel
|
Discards the data entered on the form and returns to the Operations form.
|

Add
|
Saves the data entered on the form and returns to the Operations form with a refreshed list of operation cards.
